My 1st time at Tom's Farms in Corona. Seems it is a biker hangout as well coz there are 3 places to eat there, beers and a live outdoor band.

Mine costs US$41, then after that it is US$30 annually. There are fancier plates that cost more. Mine is plain white without any graphics on it.
Their DMV office is just as crowded as the one in PJ but the ladies there are really efficient. Service is very good. Unfortunately i cannot get a driver's license until i get my visa process completed, according to the DMV officer.

TQ TQ Smile
Yeah Gary... i wish i could take it back to KL.

HI Fish... If you go to the DMV california website, u can type in the plate of your choice and it will show u whether your choice is available. Then u can order and pay for it online too. There is an 8 week wait, and after you get the letter in the mail, u can finally take your old plate off, go to the DMV office to exchange it for the new one. So i guess i cant be taking this one away. siighh..

My kiddo hasn't decided on whether he will get his own one too. Paul has one on his Expedition.

Made by convicts??? Well, doesn't matter man... With a plate as cool as that, you wouldn't be bothered who makes it.

S'pore will be allowing customised plates in the not-too-distant future. It was recently publicised & they might roll it out at the years end.

But then again, it won't be as cheap as the California plates & most predict it'll hit the 4 figure region... Cheh!!!

Fish ah... i think so leh...According to Paul. the Folsom prison in CA produces the license plates. Good that they hv a job to do then Smile
Bro Bandit/VFR.. as usual they make so that only the 'wealthy' can afford to pay for the 'privilege' of having something like that.

Looks like there will be a Touratech catalog & DVD on the way to KL now. A really nice forumer (from USJ) offered to bring me stuff from KL, so we met up today after a long drive. He has taken a few things back to KL for me, and the Touratech stuff are in there too. I love that catalog. It is amazing. They really compiled some really great stuff in that thing that is as thick as the yellow pages.
Penguin, you will be interested in meeting him since you're into guns. Wink He has asked me to get you and Mark in touch with him, and hopefully u all can get that little 'hobby' going like planned, since he is already a member and is licensed to 'carry'. Wink
