John, those are some really amazing sights. At a comfortable top speed of 140kmh, i'd say that would be good for taking in the sights on straight roads. No real need for speed unless u're on an empty highway. So u met up with Lynnvenus there? Been catching some of her postings here and there about her rides. Respect lah tu!! She is damn cool. When you go to KL in June, wil u hv your bike with you? Is it going to be a long trip or just a short one? Let us know. Yup.. u'll enjoy meeting up with hmx, he is a fun guy who can talk your ear off. Truly one person u hv to pay a lot of attention to, coz u never really know when he is BS'ing or telling the truth if u don't catch him fast enough. hehehe.. His BS'ing is harmless. Just his way of kidding around and catching u off-guard. He gives u something to think about. Hopefully i would hv gotten my visa sorted out here and in KL at that time too. Time is passing by too fast and soon my boss will be fed up of waiting. Besides, i;m not getting any younger. lol Have you met any of the guys here yet? Maybe some day i will finally get to go East and climb one of those hills/mountains while i still am able to walk even. Was supposed to go a couple of years ago with my chiropractor, but things got pushed. There is this Borneo Island International Big Bikers Festival sometime in May.... but I'm not going because will be going outstation to Sandakan, Lahad Datu and Tawau from the May 13th to 28th... and yes, riding... Then 1 gruop from Labuan will be touring Sabah sometime from mid to end May 08. Most probably I'll join them on the way back to Kota Kinabalu. End of May, HOG is coming for their Ride East thingy. Not sure about the date... As for the kind invitation to ride with you guys there (with bike provided), thank you very, very much in advance and I definitely will arrange time to meet up with you guys there... and ride...
