| ha ha....I know some of you are tired of me heaping praises on the lowly Suzuki FXR. But I found an old article of someone who shares my sentiment about this bike, so I just had to post the link.

I like this statement:
"THE Suzuki FXR150 is one of the most under-rated motorcycles ever."
Now, if Suzuki would just fix the damn LCD display which tends to burn out on just about every FXR, this bike would be flawless. I took one of my 2 displays back to LA and I'm looking for a place that can repair it. |

| Try Singapore for the LCD repair, some folks sent their X9 LCD display to a guy in Singapore for economical repairs. If they can repair the X 9 display which is much more complicated, the FXR display should be a breeze for him. Rgs Lonerider

| Hi Penguin, Hear that Suzuki would have launched their new FXZ 150 in Malaysia if not mistaken that I hear from soe friends. Am sure Suzuki would not loose hands down to Honda and Yamaha with the 150cc market.Die hard fan of Suzuki ...Yo? By d way any Sifu out there can give me some infor if the anlog speedo meter could be repaired? Meter speed would sometime work and after some time lock at certain speed giving me wrong speed reading. Would love to replaced it but cost a boom. Its for d Honda 750cc. Thanks dragonfly |

| David, the FZ150i was released for sale a few months back. There are units on the road already. Very nice bike. Lots of "big bike" features even though it is only 150cc. I think it will be a top seller in local market. |

| Hi David... For info on GPS locally, look in malsingmaps.com You will get a lot of info there as well as updated maps for Msia & S'pore. Maybe Thailand also. All u need to do to get free maps is be an active member and post your own POIs when you get any. For you that is no problem. You know where to get the best food around, so just post the coordinates for those places into malsingmaps and u will given access to the maps. I now hv a Nuvi650 but it is not weatherproof. There are some for bikes but costs a bit more. U can see some units for sale there too. |

Goodness gracious me! You are right. My bad. Jumped the gun too quickly when I was reading his reply.
FXZ eh...... I think I like the sound of that! I'll be following this development with a lot of interest. If it is an improved FXR, that would just be the bee's knees. I hope it addresses the few shortfalls of the FXR. |

| Hi David Any luck with the Sigma cycle computer? My cycle computer can record up to speeds of 100km/h, so I guess speed is not a problem. I think the issue is if the compueter has a diameter that suits motorcyle wheels. Different models have different specs. |

Thanks...Max babe. Will check out the web site you mention.i had just spend a boom getting riding gears for Peg. Think the GPS have put on hold till i recover from over budge for this month.Pocket burned with holes already. jackers, shoes and jeans. Guess this month got no more budget to get any GPS. Anyway, I wanted to keep my speedo meter as Original. Jerry, i din't manage to get the igma meter but got a "Cateye Velo 5" Have not got the time to install it yet. Yes, they have setting for the whell size. Will fix it went am on leave and test it out soon. Can record speed up to 300km/p. See if works for the time being till have $$. |
